Monolith,
Red Bull Arts Detroit
Monolith is a series of site-specific installations created by Detroit-based women and queer artists and practitioners at Red Bull Arts Detroit. Each installation explored the intersections of imagination, process, and reality as we navigate everyday existence while working towards cultivating a collective future. Monolith was inspired by the city of Detroit, meant to subvert its traditional meaning as an object or representation of the rigid and homogenous. Monolith seeks to reiterate the importance and celebration of people and place.
At Red Bull Arts Detroit, I had the opportunity to work as an art handler and graphic designer for the team. One of my tasks was to create the branding identity for the MONOLITH group exhibition held in 2021-2022. I was responsible for designing a range of assets, including wayfinding, exhibition wall text, social media assets, motion graphics, and more
